He has been serving Atul Ltd in the field of design and development, process engineering, technology innovation and transfer, project management, efficiency and productivity improvement for the past 26 years. Currently, he is also spearheading the overall operations of Atul Ltd, Ankleshwar site. He has been actively involved in various technology transformations in chosen business and is leading the team from the front. The revenue of Aromatics Business has increased from ? 10 cr when he joined the company to over ? 1000 cr with 65% export during his tenure. Has global exposure for business & technology transfer and visited many countries like USA, UK, Germany, Japan, China, Switzerland etc.

1 Prof. Pallab Ghosh 1995

Prof. Pallab Ghosh Dr. Pallab Ghosh has been an active educationist and researcher for more than 16 years. During this period, he has developed four online courses sponsored by MHRD and published 70 research papers in reputed international journals. He has written three textbooks i.e., Numerical Methods with Computer Programs in C++ (2006), Colloid and Interface Science (2009), and Numerical, Symbolic and Statistical Computing for Chemical Engineers using MATLAB? (2018) (all published by PHI Learning, Delhi). The first book was translated into Chinese. In addition, he has written six monographs (all published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany) and two book chapters [published by Bentham Science Publishers (USA) and Springer (Singapore)]. At present, Dr. Pallab Ghosh is actively involved in research in various areas of colloids and interfaces, chemical reaction engineering, molecular simulations, and computerized methods related to chemical engineering. One of his major interests is developing strong computational skills among the chemical engineers. He was awarded Shiksha Rattan Puroskar (2010), Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award (2010), and Bharat Gaurav Award (2016) by India International Friendship Society (New Delhi) for his benevolent initiatives.

2 Sri Aurindam Purkayastha 2011

Sri Aurindam Purkayastha Shri Aurindam Purkayastha, born and bought up in Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, one of the seven sister states of North East India. His first academic career begun from the St. Peters School, Shillong, where he did his schooling and having passed 10th Class in the year 2001 started Higher Secondary Studies in St. Edmunds College, Shillong. Always desired to become a surgeon so wanted to study medicals after class 12 but somehow couldn't make into medicals. Therefore landed up studying B.Sc. in Chemistry honors and then took admission in Chemical Engineering. Always was ready for playing cricket, football even by bunking classes for which he was warned and scolded but due to his simplicity, he was beloved by his teachers and passed B. Tech in Chemical Engineering in the year 2011. Started his employment career on 01st July 2011 after was placed in the campus interview with J.K. Tyres & Industries Ltd. as GET at Chennai tyre plant and received few accolades due to his work. After a few months, he left the job with the aim of making his own business. He formed the company M/s Radha Damodar Projects Ltd. in Guwahati. After facing all the odds of life and witnessing the hardships and truth of life, he is now the Managing Director of his own company spreading business in other states of India beyond Assam.
